Dr. Nico Gutierrez is a composer, conductor, and educator whose work bridges the worlds of film scoring, concert music, and vocal performance. His music explores questions of identity, memory, and belonging, often drawing on his Latin American heritage and queer perspective. 

He has worked on several films and television series for A&E, CBS, HBO Max and companies like Huawei and Netflix. His compositions have been published by Mundo Arts, Graphite Publishing, and have received performances by chamber ensembles, opera companies, and orchestras throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and Latin America.
