Â鶹ɫÇ鯬 University was a featured guest this week on WABE’s  where they discussed Â鶹ɫÇ鯬’s growth over the past 12 years and the university’s focus going forward.
During the 20-minute interview, topics included Â鶹ɫÇ鯬’s announcement in September of a $50 million gift from alumnus Bill Hammack ’73 to establish a new school of business, as well as the new Cousins Center for Science and Innovation and an increased strategic focus on international student recruitment. “Â鶹ɫÇ鯬 students look like America,” said President Schall, “(but) we want to look like the world.”
Schall also discussed Â鶹ɫÇ鯬’s presence in Atlanta as a “small, intimate learning environment” that’s “producing broadly educated accountants…doctors…engineers,” as well as timely topics like DACA and Title IX, and President Schall’s legacy at the school. “It’s a different Â鶹ɫÇ鯬 than it was 13 years ago, but still much the same.”
He even managed to fit in a little trash talk about the recent 3-1 victory of Â鶹ɫÇ鯬 Men’s Soccer over crosstown rival Emory University.
